adjusting colors by dark, light, old school, etc.?

Does anyone know if it is possible to dynamically adjust colors based on the look and feel theme - ie dark mode, light mode, old school tos mode, etc.?

I've tried various methods; I was hoping COLOR.UPTICK / DOWNTICK might change dynamically with the theme, but they don't appear to do so.

My next resort was to use GetColor(), however, this color table isn't designed for this purpose. Greens are interchanged with white, blue, and cyan rather than different shades of green.

I am assuming I am out of luck, and will have to resort to manual editing based on theme? Any help would be much appreciated.

(this mostly pertains to watch list column colors)

@Joshua GetColor() is the only viable option, which is limited at best... There is no way of parsing theme, using Thinkscript, in an effort to make custom theme-based color sets...

Ok, that's what I thought, thanks for the reply anyway. At least with chart studies, users can adjust the colors, and its possible to provide a theme based input that changes all colors based on a single drop down selection. However, with columns, the only way to adjust settings is for users to tinker with the code themselves. I guess the only real solution is to hard code the background color and text color, to ensure colors don't clash or become unreadable.

Do exercise caution in prescribing background colors in your indicators. I may be one of few here (though I see many examples in posts online around the net), but I do run a custom light background on my charts.

If you must assign a background color (for something you want to share at any rate) use a global color
Code:
DefineGlobalColor()
(https://tlc.thinkorswim.com/center/reference/thinkScript/Functions/Look---Feel/DefineGlobalColor) so that it shows up in the globals section of the indicator settings and we don't have to edit code to stop it turning our frame black or purple or whatever you've set.
