AddChartBubble on Chart Randomly BLACKS OUT ( cannot see text inside bubble )

On intraday charts ( less that 10m aggregation ), if I turn on Extended Hours data, the bubbles turn black and no text can be read inside the bubble.

Highly unlikely this is code related as this problem appeared weeks after code was created.

Looking for ideas - perhaps a TOS setting or a configuration. Running Win10-64 with 16G RAM. CPU utilization is about 30%.

Solution
Magically, the problem is now gone. It appears that TOS updates eventually fix these problems. No changes were made to the code.

Have been deleting the usergui folder every 1-2 days. Not sure if this helped, but I find that TOS runs better after "refreshing" the usergui folder. I also keep two versions in the backup folder - the rest gets deleted.

As well, I keep my studies folder ( within TOS ) trimmed down - if I am not using it, it gets backed up and the study is deleted in TOS.
Running Windows 10 Pro ( assuming Windows 11 Pro is same / similar ).

For big performance improvement in TOS, go to Task Manager, Details Tab and then right click on thinkorswim.exe, Set Priority then High ( Real Time can overwhelm a system or...

No, your settings will not affect your chart bubbles.
A wild guess would be that your script calculations are hitting a isNaN, is not a number.
This means the data stream does not have any valid data.
Given that the error is in extended hours; a further wild guess would be that it involves a volume formula (extended hours can have little to no volume depending on the instrument).

Whatever the actual issue, the script is not currently compatible with extended hours in all conditions. What changed and whether the issue is fixable or not cannot be determined because you did not provide the script.
It is not possible to see what you are seeing until you share your code and chart.

If you're unsure of how to share chart links, don't worry, here are some easy-to-follow directions for you.

If it is proprietary code, it cannot be shared here. You will need to ask the vendor for assistance.

there is a formula in the bubble code line, that determines the color, that has a nan value.

I understand why you would say this.

The code is fine. I have another instance in the same code doing the same thing with addchartbubble and it works.

It is as though TOS is overloaded and won't process. Additionally, the blacked out addchartbubble is from a higher aggregate - this is the one obvious difference between this part of the code and the other working parts of the code.

CPU remains at 40% and about 45C. I have found overheating slows down TOS.

TOS has issued the orange triangle for this code: complex script, greater load times.

post the code so others can test it out,
I deleted the thinkorswim/usergui folder and the label function works correctly.

This is the sort of idea that may fix this stuff. Once again, it is not the code. If I can plot data, but I can create a label or a chart-bubble, then it is not the code. The streamed and calculated data is there.

The thinkscript command is not allowing the data to be presented. I know this because in other aggregations, there is no problem.

Again, looking for creative suggestions.

same response, post the code, so we can help you fix it.

This has to be done manually on each reboot of app or PC. You can create a .bat script to automate, but I have enough headaches with Windows 10 so I choose to manually do this. ( who made the decision to include xbox functionality in a corp OS platform ??? )

Works well. Failing studies are now working.
