Even more, you would have a hard time convincing me of a trend change at 9:20. Trading ES I have learned the best plays are made on the half hour not in between. One of best things I ever added to my chart are vertical lines marking the half hour all day long 9:30, 10:00, 10:30, etc.

I have been watching charts with your indicators, around 1020am today, would you have gone short? If not, what would have prevented it? Chart attached, thanks!

Main thing - first pullback in strong trend with no resistance confluence and no time confluence . Only go counterend at M/W patterns with good R/S level confluence.
Indicator wise it was valid with stop at 3130 - this was actually my first play (and the above analysis was done post factum)

1030 short had better setup (major weekly resist with wicking tops) , but also did not work too well- was my 2nd play and got stopped by Psar stop on 1k chart- that was small profit (because of very good entry), taking profit at anchored vwp would been better in hindsight . @blakecmathis played it right by taking profit and I was greeding for downside continuation.

Mondays are not my fav days though. especially on gaps with

Started tracking this around 7:00pm (central). Dumb move on my part I hit "sell market" as opposed to "buy market" hence the 20 contracts there @ 3137. But damn did it work out!!!!! Bailed when FE crossed below midline.

@LouChez This is a perfect example of making a short play with this setup. I missed this one while running around the office about my profits from the long @ 3137. Happens to me a lot. Across the board: Sell Signal, FE bottomed out, CCI confirmation, pull back to the neck of the high.

@tomsk @Talochka I'm pretty sure the PSAR stop loss that @skynetgen uses isn't the standard study in TOS but I could be wrong. It is modified in one form or another.
