Paint candle when volume level is surpassed

Hi everyone, I'm wondering if anyone can show me how to create an indicator that will paint a daily candle once 9mil shares have been traded. Preferably green when up and red when down.

I actually use to do some web design, but I can't seem to wrap my head around thinkscript well enough to know where to start.
Would be grateful for any help!

set chart time to day

Code:
#vol_above_x
def v = volume;
input vol_limit = 9000000;
def vol_up = (v >= vol_limit);
AssignPriceColor(if vol_up then color.green else color.red);

Thanks so much for taking the time to write that, halcyonguy.

I think the volume condition is exactly what I was looking for.

Is there a way to have the trigger to be 9000000, and if met and the candle is bullish (in the green) it paints green, if it is bearish (in the red) it paints red, then if it is trading below 9000000, the candle is unchanged?

I keep my chart set to black candles and wicks, which I know is kinda weird.

Once again, I suspect I could do a copypasta of what you wrote, and change the "vol_above_x" to "below_x" and kind of reverse engineer that part, but I don't quite trust myself with that yet, and I definitely don't know how to write an "else unchanged" line for the below 9mil part.
