How to change the cloud color based on another condition

I want to define cloud boundaries that do not cross. I want the color to change based on another condition that does not have anything to do with the upper and lower boundaries of the cloud. Is this possible? I think I have seen this before, I am not sure how to do this given the instructions I have seen for implementing the AddCloud function. Thank you.

i don't think so. i would set up multiple addclouds. each one to display a color, based on a set of rules.
maybe ,

# existing cloud boundries
def cloud_top = ...
def cloud_bot = ...

# rules to determine color
rule1 = ...
rule2 = ...
rule3 = ...

def cloud1_top = if rule1 then cloud_top else na;
def cloud2_top = if rule2 then cloud_top else na;
def cloud3_top = if rule3 then cloud_top else na;

addcloud(cloud1_top, cloud_bot, color. green);
addcloud(cloud2_top, cloud_bot, color. cyan);
addcloud(cloud3_top, cloud_bot, color. magenta);
