How to Add Custom Watchlist Column Names

I would like to customize the description column in an ETF watchlist to better describe the ETF. The standard description is long and not very. useful. For instance, for XLE I would like to change the description to Energy rather than the long included description. I tried this by exporting the ETF list to Excel as .csv and changing the description to what I wanted. That didn't work. Any help is appreciated.

I am not aware of any method of customizing those columns without an actual custom quote.

You would have to do something like this;

AddLabel(Yes,
     if GetSymbol() == "XLRE" then "Retail"
     else if GetSymbol() == "XLE" then "Energy"
     #else if GetSymbol() == "X" then "Y" 
     #else if GetSymbol() == "X" then "Y" 
     #else if GetSymbol() == "X" then "Y"
     #else if GetSymbol() == "X" then "Y"
     else "Unknown"
);

Thanks Joshua, I'll try that. Does this approach change what is in the symbol description field? How does the AddLabel function know which field to add the descriptions to?
