Highlight Studies on Hover and Incorrect Display of Study Colors
Compared to displays of standard named or coded colors, TOS study panel colors are inaccurate, lighter than spec, so appearing faded. This inaccurate condition exists unless the setting "Highlight Studies on Hover" located at Chart Settings > General > Content > Studies > Highlight Studies on Hover is enabled and the mouse cursor is hovered in the study panel. For example, a study panel background specified Black (RGB 0,0,0), displays more like RGB 15,15,15. It only displays nearer to 0,0,0 when "Highlight Studies on Hover" is enabled and the mouse cursor is hovered in the study panel. Even then it still looks lighter than true Black when compared to other RGB 0,0,0 sources. I'd like my color specifications in ThinkScript to be correctly displayed, especially Black, but I don't see how to disable the TOS "fading" functionality that interferes with accurate color display.
Anyone know for what good reason this color fading functionality exists in TOS? I've not seen this in any other trading platform. I suspect there is no way for a user to disable it, but I thought I'd ask.
