% Change Script From a Watchlists

Hi, great people.

I have a watchlist and I want to sort it out based on this parameters:

• % Change in Price over 24 weeks
• % Change in Price over 12 weeks
• % Change in Price over 4 weeks

This is a price momentum screen that finds stocks on the move. It looks for the top percentage price gainers over the last 1 month, 3 month, and 6 month periods.

Is there a way to have a script where I can sort them out from 24 weeks first, then 12 and then 4 weeks, to find the top 3 stocks from that list?

I believe it has to be one script for each time but I'm not sure.

On the ToS platform, you can use ThinkScript to analyze and chart individual instruments. While it is a powerful tool, unfortunately, it's not capable of analyzing groups of stocks.

You could try to approach it differently. Create a score.
def score24 =
If wk24% > 2% then 3 else
if wk24% > 1% then 2 else
if wk24% > 0 then 1 else -1.
Create three such scores, add them together, and then scan for stocks with scores > 7
