barssince

Is there a way to use barssince?

I would like to have some function to count bars since H> L

Then I can use that for an indicator

Thank you

Solution
I believe the pine script function counts the number of bars since the last time the condition was true. Meaning, if its true right now, then it was true 0 bars ago. So it actually ends up just counting how long the condition has been false. If am correct, something like this should work:

Declare Lower;
Script BarsSince{
Input Condition = No;
def Count = If Condition then 0 else Count[1] + 1;
plot BarsSince = Count;
}
Plot X = BarsSince(Open > Close);

Beware, I just typed this here. I haven't tested this in TOS, nor have I experimented with the actual function in Pine.

no, barssince is not a thinkscript function.
but it is possible to look for a condition, on other bars.

you will have to elaborate on what you want. on every bar, high is greater than low.
