Anyone know how / if its possible to change price color for previous bars?

For example, I have a setup where 'x' number of higher highs follow 'x' number of lower lows... and then I am able to assign the color of the next bar if it has a higher high (and from there color any arrow or assign price color etc...). My question is... when that fires, I would prefer to color the previous bars that led up to that bar... is that possible? From what I can tell assignpricecolor has only one parameter and no historical reference to use it.
