Cannot use labels nor indicators that use any type of volume ( example: def v = volume( "UVXY"); ) on a VIX chart ( yes, aware that VIX is an index and has no volume ).
When I add volume code ( example: def v = volume( "UVXY"); ) to any other chart, it is plotted. When I add same code to VIX chart, there is no coding error, but TOS has chosen to not allow this data to plot.
There is a work around - I can create a volume only chart and plot it beneath a VIX chart - never lines up. Tells me that the data is there, but TOS has disabled this function when VIX charts are used.
Any ideas out there? Anyone had a different experience ?
