User Defined Function--UDF

Hi:

Is it possible to write user defined functions in ThinkScript? For example, I'd write a (~global for me) function that could be called by any study or strategy.

I think you have to creat a study first then pull that study name into the new study your_study()

The ToS platform does not allow for custom functions or studies to be called by other studies or strategies.
The ToS platform does provide for ToS built-in functions and studies to be called by other studies or strategies.

this is slightly different from what you are asking for,

it is possible to create a sub routine within a study, using the function , script.
but only that study can reference it.
each plot function used within it, can output 1 number. it can't draw anything.
used when a group of formulas are to be used many times.
