I'd like a custom column to show number of days I've been in a position. Any help would be appreciated.

You motivated me to learn how to use a counter in TS . 
This is counting the bars on the daily chart:

I'm sure it's something I’m doing incorrectly. I added the code to a custom column and got the error, could not save. Should I be doing something else?
