Scan with data only from the start of the current day

This might be kind of a weird request, but I have a study that I want to use the high and low from only the current day. On charts it works great, because I can select just "Today 15m", but when I add any extra time like "5 days 5 min", it uses previous highs and lows and ends up throwing off the current day's chart. When I try to use the study as parameters in a scan my scan misses most signals because it must be using highs and lows form previous days. How do I limit the data that the scan uses?

add this formula to your study, then add istoday in your logic to decide when to grab the high and low

def istoday = if GetLastDay() == GetDay() then 1 else 0;
