TheoTrade's Don Kaufman Reviews?

I watched a couple Theotrade vids and I was part of a quiet chatroom with someone named "Bluesgirl" who uses Tradingview who swears by Center of Gravity. Not sure if gravity points and center of gravity are the same thing but people use them on the main indexes and major stocks as levels of gravity that attract price movement. Basically, they are lines that don't necessarily act like support/resistance but they drag the stock/ETF up or down towards them.

Bluesgirl did some fancy calculations that she wouldn't share with anybody (lame) and she claimed her account had gone up 400% from a little baby $500 account since Jan of this year. Kinda makes me curious...

No, they are not. Gravity Points from Theotrade is something that Don Kaufman created and as far as I know, doesn't share them. I will have to ask Don. Center of Gravity is in the Universe onenote as a COG. ToS has one built in called Volume Profile.

You may be right. When he started using them about a year ago, I don't recall him saying one way or the other. All he has said repeatedly is that they are not support & resistance.

I have a quick question and I know everyone learns thing differently and can have different views on certain points but all I am asking for is your personal honest opinion please. So I’m brand new to trading in general, stocks, options, forex etc. no experience what so ever... so keeping that in mind, I am trying to learn and develop a skill just like anything else.

I am interested in learning options because it seems to fit my work/lifestyle the best and wanted to know, in your opinion (in addition to tasty trade) which one of the so called online educators would you recommend to purchase “program” from to learn and start on right path. I have been recommended TheoTrade from a couple people. Anyone else can add their experience with other educators?

thank you as always,

wow didnt even think abt TD Ameritrade info (no sarcasm FYI), great info SF.
and thanks Ben will get material from option alpha once I’m done with tasty trade material.
thank you guys,

IF you're a serious student of learning options, I would highly suggest you read Jeff Augen's books on Options trading. He's a genius when it comes to understanding/trading options. In particular read, "The volatility edge in options trading".

Appreciate the book, I will be looking into it for sure. Thank you

I'm interested in learning more about options trading and forex ? How did you all get started ? What recommendations can you pass along to a beginner ?

I don't feel I'm on a clear path right now I've been watching alot of youtube videos and writing down the important stuff . I have an idea of what to do but, it's difficult to chart without knowing the indicators as well. Any advice anyone could give would be helpful.

Thanks in advance!

You Tube has some of the best videos. Look at "Basic option trading" or "selling and buying Calls and Puts". I remember reviewing videos by some guy called Sasha... Very basic and well explained.

Tank, if you have some cash like $5K, you can sell a put, "Selling Cash backed Puts to buy stocks" Once you have been exercised and have the stock you can sell covered calls "Selling Covered Calls". This is a great way to make money with very limited risk, ..... do your homework first, watch the videos. Good luck.

I did not complicate my life, I just look at the breakouts, up or down over a period of time and confirm with long term trends and place my credit spreads accordingly, EM as is and no I do not use the gravity points.
