Hull MA Question

I am trying to find a scan (script) to use for an 81 period Hull MA telling me when it changes colors indicating a change from up to down or vice versa. I found one on here that I thought might work but when I pasted it in then the OK button on the right did not activate letting me put it in. So, will someone who has this script please help me out and possibly even let me know what I might have done wrong with the one that I found.
Your help is greatly appreciated.

a scan study needs just 1 plot, that is 0 or 1.
what you copied may have had more than one and/or addbubble() and addlabels() . Try changing extra plots to def, disabling all the extra output function code lines, by putting a # in front of them.

When trying to create a scan study, it is easier if you start with making a lower chart study. then you can see when it works, by seeing a spike to 1 on the chart.
go find that code you tried,
add
declare lower;
and save it. it may still have errors, but at least as a chart study, you can save it, and try to debug it.
then post it here.
