I am having trouble in my trade logic when setting my chart to use Heikin Ashi candles. For example, if I want to find all Heikin Ashi candles that Close green, where there is no lower wick I define it as:
However when I do this, it seems to only look for this on regular candles. Do I need to define the HA candles differently first before referencing them this way?
Code:
def haOpen = (open[1] + close[1])/2;
def haClose = (open + close + high + low)/4;
def entry = haClose > haOpen #Candle closes Green
and haClose < high #High is greater than the Close (has a upper wick)
and Low == haOpen; #Low is equal to Open (no lower wick)
However when I do this, it seems to only look for this on regular candles. Do I need to define the HA candles differently first before referencing them this way?
