Help with creating a scan for candles with larger wicks than the body of the candle

Hello,

Would anyone be willing to code a scan for thinkorswim that looks for when the top wick is larger than the body of the candle and lower wick?

I’d also like to have the ability to look for the when the bottom wick is larger than the body of the candle and the top wick. Plus have the option to scan for a red or green candle meeting the criteria (not super necessary if it would be hard).

Any help is appreciated. Oh and I know inverter hammers and hammers may fit into this category but I’d still like to scan for the above criteria. Thank you.

1. Larger than the body, and also larger than the bottom wick...
2. larger than the body and bottom wick combined
Both would be awesome to compare but if I had to pick one it would be the,"Larger than the body, and also larger than the bottom wick."

Solution
plot Scan = High - Max(Open,Close) > BodyHeight() and High - Max(Open,Close) > Min(Open,Close) - Low;
Scan.setpaintingStrategy(paintingStrategy.BOOLEAN_ARROW_UP);

I do similar candle identification in a script that I wrote, and I might suggest that you do a further screen so that the entire candle is larger than a certain amount, perhaps a factor of the atr. The reason I suggest this, is that if you don't do this, you will get many very small candles that meet your criteria but are insignificant because of their size.

Yes you're right, what I am looking for is the images below... where the wicks are considerable larger than body and opposite wick... and with above average volume
