On a daily chart, I am looking to determine the percent change between yesterday's close and the LOWEST price for the current candle, and if it's over a 4.5% drop, put an arrow.
Here's what I have but this is only for yesterday's close compared to the current candle close. I can't find a way to base it on the current candle's LOWEST price, not where the candle closed. Here's what I have that's close, but not exactly what I want. Any help is appreciated. TY
# THIS SHOWS AN ARROW WHEN THE CURRENT CANDLE IS DOWN MORE THAN X% FROM PRIOR CANDLE CLOSE
#THE NUMBER BELOW IS THE % DOWN ON THAT CANDLE FROM THE PRIOR CANDLE CLOSE (i.e. -4.5% = -.045)
declare upper;
input user = -.045;
def percent_chg = (close-close[1])/close[1];
plot arrow = if percent_chg <= user then 1 else 0;
arrow.setpaintingStrategy(paintingStrategy.BOOLEAN_ARROW_UP);
