Buy order on Bar 1

I have a strategy using daily bars. I would like to have it buy on the 1st bar.
This is my failed attempt.

if barnumber() == 1 then {
AddOrder(condition = yes, tradeSize = units, type = OrderType.BUY_TO_OPEN);
}else{

};

Thanks for any help.

ignoring the bar1 question,..

separate the 2 functions. can't have a addorder within a if then.
why is condition = yes? that would buy on every bar.

create a variable for bar1 condition, then use that variable in addorder.

def buy1 = if barnumber() == 1 then 1 else 0;

AddOrder(condition = buy1, tradeSize = units, type = OrderType.BUY_TO_OPEN);

side note, although you can use parameter names in functions, it would be good practice to list the inputs in the correct order, as listed on...
